Feijoa sellowiana 'Waingaro.'. A vigorous, productive and self-fertile cultivar, Waingaro ripens late, so best in warmer regions. Fruit is large and thin-skinned, so treat gently or these fruits will bruise. Its pulp is remarkably reminiscent of Meyer lemon curd. As of November 2023, plants are about 18" tall, branching, smaller than photo. These are grafted plants, so remove growth beneath graft line to maintain scion.
